On Sunday, 18th May 2025, S. M. Charitable Trust, Agra, under the leadership of Dr. Farat Khan (MBBS, MS), organized a free health check-up camp at the residence of Shri Irfan Bhai in Lohamandi, Agra.

The camp successfully provided free medical consultations to approximately 100 people from the local area. Services offered included general health check-ups, blood pressure and sugar testing, and distribution of essential medicines — all at no cost to the patients.

This initiative was part of the Trust’s ongoing efforts to provide accessible and affordable healthcare to economically weaker sections of society. The Trust is committed to improving public health through regular medical outreach programs like this.

We sincerely thank Dr. Farat Khan, our dedicated medical team, and the local residents for their active support and participation in making this camp a success. Special thanks to Shri Irfan Bhai for hosting the camp at his residence and supporting our mission.

🧹 Cleanliness & Awareness Drive – 9th August 2025

On 9th August 2025, the S.M. Charitable Trust team visited the inner areas of Alamganj, where unhygienic conditions and garbage piles were a major concern.

The team appealed to the local residents to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings for a healthier life. Along with this, people were also educated about the harmful effects of gutkha (chewing tobacco) on health.

🚭 Gutkha ruins health – cleanliness protects health.

On 15th August 2025, the S.M. Charitable Trust Office as well as the S.M. Multi Super Speciality Charitable Hospital proudly hosted a Flag Hoisting Ceremony and celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm.

On this occasion, a special message was shared with the people:
👉 Health and Education are the basic needs of every human being.
👉 We all must ensure that our children receive proper education and that their health is given utmost priority.

“Health and Education are the two pillars of a strong nation. Just as education enlightens the mind, good health strengthens the body. We all must ensure that our children receive proper schooling and that families pay attention to regular medical checkups and hygiene. Without education, a child’s future is dark, and without health, life itself becomes difficult. Together, by promoting literacy and healthcare, we can build a society that is self-reliant, progressive, and compassionate.”

These thoughts were expressed by the Convener of the Trust, Dr. Farhat Khan (MBBS, MS – General Surgeon).
